About Me and Why This Blog Came About
Come on my journey to visit the best breweries, cideries, and other drinking holes! Hey my name is Taylor Engbrocks and I am a beer,cider, travel enthusiast in the Boise Area currently. First off where do I come from? Short answer: everywhere long answer: I was born and spent the first decade of my life in the many suburbs of Tampa, Florida. In August of 2006 my parents, my younger sister, and I moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina so that I could go to better schools. In March of 2009 my father's job at the time transferred him to Phoenix, Arizona so then in August of that year we moved to a suburb called Cave Creek just 45 minutes North of Phoenix. When I graduated high school in May of 2013 I then moved to Laramie, Wyoming to attend the University of Wyoming where I got my bachelors degree in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Science in May of 2017. Not too long after that I moved to Sunnyvale, California to pursue a career in my field at Apple which was short lived and so I moved again in August. I then moved to Boise, Idaho in October of 2017 and we will see where I will go next.
Why did I start this blog? Simple answer I love craft beer, cider, and going to new places if you couldn't tell with all of the places I have lived or my degree. Really though I wanted to start this because we need unity in the world especially today and the brewery scene is huge so what better way to come together and bond over travelling and drinking good beer and other libations.Â
What is my vision with this bog? I am going to travel to other cities and towns and take video of all the breweries and cideries all you craft beer and cider drinkers should go to and interview the owners and/or brewers. Also if there's any kind of brew fest or drinking holiday I am going to promote that as well as take photos and video or the places.Â
